Onsite: TANKLESS WATER HEATER INSTALL
In this video we are going to install a Navien tankless water heater. The customer already had high pressure brought into this house, so that makes getting the supply, the volume of gas we need to run this thing pretty easy. This will be be valuable to people, especially multi-family homes, or I should say multi-members. So if you have a project like this, please give us a call at (651) 362-2622 or look us up on the web www.championplumbing.net. Thanks.

Troy: Hello Troy, Champion Plumbing out of Eagan, Minnesota. We are currently in Minneapolis putting in a Navien tankless water heater. These things are pretty cool. For awhile we backed away from them just because the groundwater up here is so cold and the gas that it needs, you really have to reinvent the wheel. This customer already had high pressure brought into this house, so that makes getting the supply, the volume of gas we need to run this thing pretty easy. You can see it’s not completely done yet. The water is hooked up and on. The water hooks up to the bottom of these, so it’s quite a bit different than a standard water heater, and then we have venting that comes off the top of it. And our gas will be tied right here. He’s got the valve on already.
So these will give you about four and a half gallons per minute of nonstop water. You can turn the shower on, go to work, come back. It’ll still be hot. So you can see where they’d be valuable to people, especially multi-family homes, or I should say multi-members, when you got like me five kids. We go through a lot of water. So if you have a project like this, please give us a call at (651) 362-2622 or look us up on the web www.championplumbing.net. Thanks.
