Installing A Natural Gas Line For Outdoor Grill

Gas to an outdoor grill! This customer purchased a new gas grill and did not want to carry around those heavy propane tanks. This installation is straightforward, routed a line and brought gas directly to the gas grill location. If you’d like to have consistent gas routed to your grill, first you’d need to make sure your grill is able to connect to a gas line. Troy: Hey there, Troy. Champion Plumbing out of Eagan, Minnesota. We’re in Bloomington, doing another gas line. They are customers adding an outside grill. You can see the copper line running. They’ve got it sleeved running outside. No more carrying in LP tanks once we pass this inspection. So adding a natural gas line, we’ve been doing a lot of these lately.

You can see we got the gauge on it. We’re just waiting for the inspector in Bloomington. We’ve got it pumped up to 50 pounds. I’ll run you outside and show you what they’ve got out there. All right, so here’s where they’re stubbing out the gas.

It’s all capped off right now because he’s got the air on is waiting for the inspection. This is the grill that’s going to be hooked up. It’s pretty awesome. That’s going to be really awesome. I wish I had the talent of cooking. I don’t. So I still have LP tanks that I change out once a year.
