Water Heater Installation The Right Way

This customer had a water heater with 3″ venting that required changing. Within 30 minutes, we installed new venting, water piping, and routed gas. The customer was very happy! Some signs to consider with a failing water heater include discolored water, water buildup around the unit, lukewarm water temperature, strange noises, length of time since repair/replacement. Troy: Hey everybody. Troy with Champion Plumbing out of Eagan, Minnesota. Today, we are in … Where are we? Eden Prairie? Eden Prairie doing on another water heater. This one had three-inch venting. It’s already been taken apart here.

It had three-inch venting that had to be changed, but that’s really about it. We’ve got the new heater in here and the new venting right down there.

So I will show you once we’re all done what it looks like.

Here we go, 30 minutes later. Well, a little over 30 minutes. Got new venting on there. Again, this is Troy with Champion Plumbing out of Eagan. We’re in Eden Prairie doing a water heater. The old water heater was leaking and well, it was old.
